How to Apply for a Post in Aligarh Muslim University - AMU

The official website that usually announces the vacancies in Aligarh Muslim University is http://www.amuregistrar.com/. The website is not very user friendly hence many people find it difficult to navigate and find the resources they are looking for.

1. Look for the link "Vacancies" in the left menu.
2. Drop down menu in the right will display the available vacancies when clicked.

Usually the top most advertisement number is the latest.

The website provides job application forms online. Please note there are different application forms for different categories. So there are following application forms for:(Click the links below to download the job application form of your choice for AMU)

• Teaching - Professorship through General Selection Committee
• Teaching - Associate Professorship through General Selection Committee
• Teaching - Assistant Professorship through General Selection Committee
• Non Teaching - through General Selection Committee
• School Teachers - through General Selection Committee
• Application Form - Local Selection Committee

Please note: 

• The form printout should be on a legal size(8.5” x 14”) page.
• Attach a Demand Draft of Rs. 150/- with form. DD should be payable to
  The Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh, at
  State Bank of India, AMU Branch, Aligarh (Code 5555)
• Attach all the supporting documents.
• Write and send your application form at the following address on the envelop containing application form
  Deputy Registrar, (Selection Committee),
  Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh-202002.
• Please write the post applied for, advertisement number and date top left corner of the envelop.
• Local residents can also get a bank challan from SBI AMU Branch for Rs. 150/- and submit the form by hand at the reception counter Administrative Block AMU.
